KLIQ ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered professional networking and CRM platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Account information: Name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo, company, role, industry, interests, and networking goals.
Contacts and meetings: Contact names, emails, companies, notes, meeting details, and event RSVPs that you create or import.
Calendar data: When you connect Google, LinkedIn, or Outlook, we sync calendar events to surface networking opportunities. We only access event titles, times, and attendees — not email content.
Files and media: Voice notes, presentation files, and profile pictures you upload are stored securely in AWS S3.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app to improve the experience.
KLIQ uses AI (powered by OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate contact insights, relevance scores, meeting prep notes, and networking recommendations. Your data is sent to these providers only to process your specific requests — it is never used to train AI models and is not sold to any third party. AI-generated content is provided as-is and should be reviewed before acting on it.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.
KLIQ uses session cookies via NextAuth.js to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove all personal data, contacts, meetings, and files within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained for product improvement.

We use JWT-based authentication, encrypted OAuth token storage, rate limiting on all endpoints, and secure HTTPS connections. While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to protect your data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of KLIQ after changes constitutes acceptance.
